CAMP LIFE

ALL ABOUT FUN.
AND FRIENDS.

And new adventures

Ramah Day Camp is all about fun.  And friends.  And new adventures. And Ramah Day Camp is about creatively blending Jewish values into activities focused on our four pillars – joy, growth, connection and inclusion.

HANDLING EVERY CAMPER WITH THE UTMOST CARE.

Campers are divided into an eidah (division) according to grade, and are further divided into kvutzot (small groups).  Leading each kvutzah are two or more counselors who work under the direct supervision of a Rosh Eidah (Division Head), an experienced adult staff member.

These small groups are created with intentionality to bring together children from all over Chicagoland and provide opportunities for campers to broaden connections and make new friends. The camp experience is designed to be meaningful for every camper, regardless of background. Every camper has the opportunity to develop skills in all areas of camp, and we work hard to assist each camper in a nurturing environment.

Campers move through daily activities in these small groups, joining together with their age division for tefillah (prayer), sports, instructional swim and free swim.  Younger campers sample the wide variety of camp activities; older campers choose from a variety of electives including rocketry, pottery, archery, soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, drama, dance, STEAM, yoga, gymnastics, strategic games and more.

The magical ingredients of camp life: fun + friends + sunshine + laughter + Ramah programming combine to create an amazing summer experience!
